Cashier
Ensure that efficient services are provided to customers at the checkout counters. Ensure safety and security on transacting with cash and other valuables (Gift cards, SALIK, Recharge cards, etc. To ensure proper and correct registering of transactions in the POS-Point of sale system
Job Description
- Provide direct and indirect customer service (ex: handling customer goods and bagging, assisting in other instructed store activities, maintaining cleanliness & orderliness at checkouts)
- Ensure proper usage of POS systems, Bank POS other equipment at checkout with care and diligence
- Contribute towards store sales through suggestive selling and upselling
- Register online/ home delivery sales transactions and coordinate with deliveries as per requirement
- Proper registering of transactions through the POS system by handling cash and valuables and operating/ registering transactions in various modes with no discrepancy in the transaction.
