Sales Executive (GM Commerce) is responsible for sales in the assigned accounts/ geographical area. Meeting sales targets, assuring maximum profitability and effective stock management to increase customer satisfaction and continued business growth. Ensuring payment collections of customers outstanding are within the stipulated payment terms as agreed. Meeting the sales performance quota through existing customers and onboarding new customers for the brands. Leading the introduction of new products and achieving sales quota. The job holder will also be responsible for maintaining the desired visual merchandising, operations, customer service, replenishment, recovery standards in his/her area in all aspects

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/KNOWLEDGE
- Graduate with driving license
- Good Knowledge of Merchandising, Stock Management, and Inventory processes
- Good communication skills in English & Hindi.
- 2-4 years of experience in similar category of products/customers.
- Customer Service and account management skills
- Basic MS Office skills.
- Planning & Organizing skills

KEY DIMENSIONS AND RELATED JOB RESULTS
- Sales - focused on agency brands with the customer base in assigned geographical area.
- Collections -Ensure payments are collected on time from customers.
- Increase Customer base- Add new customers within the assigned area.
- Brand management- Introduce the newly launched products and ensure improved sales visibility, cost effective display of products in customers shop front and participation in promotions and festivities.
- Merchandiser -Supervising the day-to-day function of the merchandisers.
- Reporting -Maintaining daily route plan and reporting on AR collection and account related information.
- Setting a sales matrix for the products, ensuring that all the categories are available as per the customers requirement and analyzing the price point of the product.
- Actively seeks ways to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Monitor and control expenses
- Interpret and act on profit and sales reports focusing on improving under-performing areas
- Monitor sales performance against last year, last week and budget on a daily and weekly basis and to give feedback to manager and customers
- Promote awareness of local trading patterns, the trading environment and competitor activity
- Identify internal and external commercial opportunities
- Increase market share in the area and study competition regularly
- Look at prospective sites and evaluate new customers
Operational Standards and Management
- Execute new account openings and supervise fit out of the customer
- Assurance that promotions are implemented according to guidelines and that local/seasonal promotional opportunities are identified and maximized.
- Monitor inventory management systems within the area (stock availability, order management, back store management, stock consolidation and transfer)
- Ensure ontime stock count and effective stock management (right product is available at the right time across all customers)
- Assurance that all customers portray the brand image in all aspects of presentation
- Maintain the best standards in all showrooms as per market positioning of the brand
- Initiate timely action on slow moving and non-moving products
- Furnish regular product feedback to sales manager on sales & buying inputs.
- Supervise the visual merchandising function to ensure that they support the brand and intended theme.
- Execute and monitor stores for events like sale, promotions etc.
